Overview

Security Headquarters is where the wings major decisions such as the goals for each year, large scale events and operations, funding and upkeep happen. While most of this may be done in the background, without our dedicated members the wings functions wouldn't run smoothly.

Each Security Officer both Commissioned and Non in HQ is part of the HQ Division, The Legionnaires and is required to be a specialist in some form or aspect of the game.
Much like our Raptors these brave souls push the boundary on their chosen focus while ensuring they are also capable field commanders.

Talon Liaisons

Our Talon Liaisons are those that are dedicated to helping our newest members get started on their journey in the Security wing. The liaisons are members of the Security Academy, both as instructors for all our orientation material and as FTOs.

VSS Defiant - Fleet Groups Flagship.

The Defiant is Fleets current Flagship, Captained by the CO of Navy it is a Key member of the VNGD First Fleet, working as part of its primary Defensive unit.

MOON Company - Mechanized Orbital Onslaught Network

Is the First Fleet and Marine Groups Offensive Mechanized Assault Unit.

MOON Company specializes in ground tactics, with their goal being to take and hold the land. When that's not possible then MOON Co. is responsible for the ‘Salting of the earth’ with a sub-orbital assault so the opposing faction cant use it against us.

Witcher Squadron - Specializing in covert and overt direct action missions.

Witcher Squadron provides a proactive response to player pirates, and hostile player run organizations who threaten Vanguard interests in the ‘Verse. Capable of extreme violence of action Witcher embodies the age old adage “Surprise, Kill, Vanish”

Upcoming Units, Ships and Divisions

VSS Arcadia - Security Wings Flag ship.

The Arcadia is set to be a Light Assault Carrier, capable of acting as a Forward deployment platform for future Units.
Included in the function of the Arcadia is to be the Dedicated Carrier and FOB for the upcoming Security HQ Division

VSS Carthage (Name TBD) - Marines Flag Ship. Check back at a later date for more information.

The Security Wing has many projects in the works across the year, ranging from Cross Org events, to new certifications and SOPs.
