Overview
Vanguard's Aegis Group consists of two Divisions; Peacekeepers and the Academy works to keep the entire Organization’s daily operations running safely and smoothly, operating as a safeguard for vanguard assets, and following the motto “TBD”. We are Security’s Shield and instructors, ever vigilant, eliminating threats to the home fleet, and training the next generation of the organization.
As a member of Aegis, your goal is the protection of the fleet and instruction of our newest members.
mission
Protect and Serve
Aegis peacekeepers ensure the safety and stability of sectors where Vanguard operates. Their primary focus is in protecting civilians, shielding them from pirates and other dangerous actors. Once civilians are safe, peacekeepers then investigate and hunt down the perpetrators to bring them to justice.
Present and Alert
We are the first defense against any aggression, and the first to raise the alarm if there’s something we can’t handle. Any hostile action against a fellow org mate is an affront and will be dealt with in the most expedient way. This necessitates rapid response, whether in space or on the ground.
Humility, Respect, and Cooperation
Aegis officers must be professional, always respecting our org members whether they are embedded in our operations or being protected. As first responders, Aegis officers may be the first interaction some non-members ever have with Vanguard, and it is essential they represent the organization well.
DIVISIONS
Peacekeepers
Keepers of the Peace, Dealers of Justice
Peacekeepers respond to distress calls, prioritizing Vanguard members, rendering combat assistance to civilians under fire. Officers must be prepared to document hostile events, interview witnesses, and investigate criminal activity in the verse. They are divided into departments of differing sizes, with flexible jurisdictions based on the organization’s current operational hubs. Peacekeepers must be professional and effective when responding to calls to ensure the confidence and trust of Vanguard members and non-members alike.
Academy
Instructing the new generation
Academy Instructors or better known as our Field Training Officers or FTO for short are tasked with training all members and assisting them during the their career both with Security and Vanguard as a whole. This skilled team of Instructors cleverly employ the information and tools at hand to get all our members certified and ready to choose their path within Security.
Talon Liaison
JNCOs of the Academy Division
Talon Liaisons are those that are dedicated to helping our newest members get started on their journey in the Security wing. The liaisons are members of the Security Academy Division and are prominent figures amongst the Academy. As the first point of contact upon joining the wing their goal is to assist Talons on their Initial introduction to the Security wing.

Vanguard and pirates
Vanguards Peacekeepers endeavour to keep the verse safe, however they cant be everywhere at once. While we encourage you to always fly with an Escort we understand that it isn’t always possible, for those situations where you are under attack don’t forget to call out for Combat Assistance.
While Vanguard Peacekeepers work to log known and dangerous pirates within the system, you too can submit a report and help keep the verse a safer place.
