Drug Labs & Junkyards

The following locations can not be found on the StarMap unless you accept a mission that sets a location marker to help guide you there. However, they are persistent locations on the surface of the moons and planets and this means you can find them without the mission markers if you know where to look.

Below, you will find all of the hidden locations that have trade kiosks. A video link is included to help you find each of them. There is also a rough transcript of the video in case you just need to jog your memory. Likewise, there are a couple of images taken from the each of the videos that are usually enough to get you there.

We have also included a commodity pricing guide for each location that will show you, at a glance, what you can buy and sell when you arrive. This guide also shows how quickly each kiosk refreshes it’s commodities and the maximum quantity you can expect the terminal to sell or buy from you.

We hope the information contained here helps you in your endeavours.

The Orphanage (Lyria):
This facility can be found by accepting the “Big Dump” mission while being around ArcCorp.

Without the mission, the best way to get there is to head to Lyria then quantum travel to OM-1. Next aim toward Shubin Processing Facility SPAL-12. To the right of Shubin you can see a few landmarks. There is a mountain range, look behind that and locate the ‘white spot’ which is an ice plane, the Orphanage will be located there. Using this as your heading, begin your descent toward the moon. Shubin Processing Facility SPAL-12 is located at the tip southern (relative to your viewing angle) tip of the ice plane, nearest to you.

The easiest way to get there without the mission is to head to Lyria and quantum travel to OM-3. Next, locate Shubin Processing Facility SPAL-3 and aim the nose of your ship to the right of the marker until it is centre in the bay formed by the giant ice plane clearly visible (see image below). As you get closer you will be able to a dark patch similar to others on the surface, Paradise Cove is located at the top of this. Continue your approach, see images below for guidance. The location is settled amongst rock outcroppings and is clearly visible.

Proceed in this direction. You will soon be able to make out a dark spot, shown in the middle image below, head towards and then over it, do not alter your heading. Once passing over this dark spot you will spot, off your starboard bow, a valley with white mountains surrounding a grey patch, see the image below to the right for clarification. Reclamation and Disposal Orinth (Hurston):
This location can be found by accepting a delivery mission called “D-Liver”. This mission will take you to various scrapyards in order to complete it.

In order get to the Orinth Scrapyard without accepting the mission, you will first need to make your way to OM-4. Once there, jump back to Hurston. From there locate the outpost marker “HDSF-Tompkins”, spool up and jump to this marker however, make sure to keep an eye on the marker when in quantum as when you are in the 600km range from the marker, cut your ships power to exit quantum state. You will know if you have succeeded if you see a snake shaped mountain range, see the left-most image below for clarification. Realign you ship and identify the snake’s head, you should see two sets of mountains on the left side of the snake’s head. The mountain furthest from the snake’s head is where the location is situated (see middle image below). More specifically, you will find Orinth in a large clearing behind said mountain.
