This FPS (First Person Shooter) Certification will test the knowledge gained from USD, BCT, FCT, and other FPS combat training events versus other trained player OpFor. This requires a team of 3-5 people, and one designated Claw Lead. FPS on Hard Mode.

ADVANCED COMBAT CERTIFICATION

To schedule an ACC. please reach out the an ACC maintainer and request testing. Events will be posted but they are rare. Having a team ready that has experience working with each other will greatly increase your chances of passing.

Concepts:

(In addition to BCT Concepts) Ship Boarding and Repelling: Be able to breach and clear ships, as well as be able to defend them from attackers. While this is mostly self explanatory, practice breaching and defending an 890 Jump, Carrack, and Hammerhead is a good idea.

Establish a Plan of Attack:

Form a plan with your claw. If you are assaulting a large ship with minimum personnel at your disposal, prioritize strategic parts. Usually this will be the bridge and/or engineering, but occasionally a ship will have a med bed on board that will need to be secured along with the other aspects. For this section you will be graded on how your claw understands the mission, how the claw handles casualties, and overall mission success.

In general, ACC will be the same core concepts as BCT and FCT, but with a few added challenges within the given missions and a higher needed minimum score. Communication will need to be precise within the claw, but the claw master will also need to be able to effectively demonstrate communication with other elements such as CAS or Overwatch. Additionally, some graded criteria will be an automatic failure in ACC, versus only missing points in BCT. Only certain events will be suitable for certifying people for ACC. Such events will need to include an EVA combat component and a ship boarding combat component.

The 890 Jump Mission replicated to other large ships is very good training.

To obtain the ACC, participants will need to repeat the graded portion of BCT and FCT and score a minimum of 3/5 points in each of those respective fields during an ACC event.

Scoring Criteria:

Missed clearing areas: 1-3 points deducted.

Missed enemies: 1 points deducted per VIP enemy.

Ineffective communication (including planning): 1-3 points deducted.

Friendly Fire: automatic failure.

Violation of ROE: automatic failure.

Coming unprepared: 2 points deducted.

Going Over Time: 1 point per minute, at discretion of FTO.
