Hyperion

Overview

Hyperion is a conglomerate of the various aspects of trade and logistics within Star Citizen. Hyperion manages legal logistics and trade, as well as dealing with the more under-the-table gameplay within the verse.

Responsibilities

Atlas: Fleet Logistics

Atlas is Vanguard’s go-to logistics group. Atlas members handle vehicle loading, moving weapons and ammunition, and transporting personnel wherever they’re needed. Everything Atlas does is focused on keeping Vanguard supplied, mobile, and operating like a well-oiled machine.

Iapetus: Less Than Legal Logistics (Formerly Obsidian)

Iapetus serves as the center of Vanguard’s under-the-table logistics operations, operating quietly outside the organization’s more public-facing activities. Iapetus Members specialize in prison breaks, drug manufacturing and trafficking, and other unverified or off-the-books activities.

When Iapetus mobilizes, its members work from the shadows, keeping their operations separate from Vanguard’s surface-level activities and maintaining a low profile whenever possible.

Prometheus: Cargo Trading (Formerly Kraken)

Prometheus Members are experts in trade, cargo, and logistics; specializing in moving goods quickly and efficiently from one location to the next. Whether it’s hauling a full load or keeping a supply chain moving, Prometheus gets the job done.

When Prometheus operates, they follow one simple rule: Time is Money.

Importance

Serving as both the primary logistics division and the premier money-making unit within Vanguard, Hyperion serves as the backbone of the organization's finance and logistics departments. When Vanguardians need assistance, whether monetary or logistically, Hyperion members will always step up and assist to the best of their abilities.

Assist all Vanguardians with logistical assistance and personnel recovery, within a reasonable timeframe and with appropriate care given.
