Basic Navigation II

Finding Points of Interest or POIs is a vital skill to any Vanguard member. POIs may be natural features, buildings, crash sites, etc. Trilateration allows one to lead themselves and others to interesting locations not marked on any maps. Until other tools are provided, it remains our best way to find and guide others to these spots.

In this Certification applicants will be provided partial coordinates for a non-marked POI and given an unlimited amount of time to find it using techniques outlined in the lesson below. Qualification must be done independently from others and will be verified by a self directed quiz.
