It is intended to help guide the student towards thinking about SRS from a leadership perspective by being acutely aware of various limitations that we, as humans, must contend with.</p><p> </p><p><span style="font-weight:bold">Who should take this</span>: Unit Leaders, Event Organizers, and players Interested in furthering their communications training.</p><p> </p><p><span style="font-weight:bold">Expected Time Requirements</span>: 1.5 hour lesson + Quiz</p><p> </p><p>This course will teach various elements including:</p><ul><li>Task Saturation &amp; Workload Management Principles</li><li>Human Factors and Associated Communications Limitations</li><li>Communications Hierarchy</li><li>Types of Frequencies</li><li>Information Flow &amp; Pathways</li><li>Available versus Required Communication Bandwidth</li><li>Creating Communication Plans</li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="font-weight:bold">How the course is conducted</span></p><p> </p><p>The course is comprised of two different elements:</p><ol><li>In person lesson taught by an SRS Master Instructor</li><li>Certification Quiz</li></ol><p> </p><p><span style="font-weight:bold">Scheduling a lesson</span></p><p> </p><p>The in person lessons are schedule on an ad hoc basis. Please reach out to an SRS Master Instructor to schedule a lesson. The SRS Expert Radio Training certificate quiz is comprised of two basic parts- answering various questions based upon the inperson lesson and the SRS SOP, and creating two operation communication plans.</p><p> </p><p>Once you submit your quiz, the SRS Master Instructor will grade it and sit down and discuss how you did.</p>
