Certifies that the holder can fight at the top of their own airframe’s capability in a single-seat engagement.

Completes the flight ladder above Basic and Intermediate Flight Maneuvers. Covers close-range geometry inside knife-fighting range, budgeting thrust and energy against the ship’s envelope, and leveraging roll to place a turn where it is wanted.

Assessed by duels against an instructor at an advanced standard, plus demonstrated proficiency in the maneuver drills taught throughout the flight line.
